Nafplio is a special destination that has a lot to offer you, no matter how many times you visit it. Each visit can become a unique experience, depending on the season you choose and on your personal preferences.

Water sports in Nafplio

In both Nafplio and Argolida you will find enchanting beaches, such as Karathonas and Arvanitia (Nafplio), Tolo beach, Drepano beach (Plaka), as well as Kondili or Ag. Nikolas in Vivari, and many other unexplored coves. They are all well organised and have facilities for water sports, such as water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, while you will also find kitesurfing and diving lessons. In the summer months, you can also take daily cruises to Hydra, Spetses and Poros. Ask at Hotel Perivoli reception for more information.

Agrotourism & Activities in nature

Contact with nature calms the mind and relaxes you from the stress of everyday life, so we, at Hotel Perivoli support agrotourism and we can suggest beautiful paths and trails for hiking and cycling, as well as climbing sites.

If you want to get a taste of the local tradition and products, we organise guided tours of vineyards and traditional olive presses, where you can participate in wine and olive oil tastings and depending on the time of the year, learn about the respective agricultural activities.

Perivoli is one of the hotels that also organises activities for families with children. From horseback riding for beginners or not, to experiential pottery seminars, guided tours of the ancient city of Tirintha and theatrical play on the theme of Hercules’ Labours, you will surely find something that will delight you and your children!

Cultural events

In Nafplio, the city of painters, sculptors and poets, numerous cultural events take place throughout the year. In the first week of June, the Music Festival is organised for classical music lovers, while under the Athens Festival, you can watch performances at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus and musical events such as Music July, organised by the Athens Concert Hall.

If you are interested in the tradition of Argolida, it is worth visiting the “Agrotourism Fair” at the port of Ancient Epidaurus featuring products from Argolida and all over Greece. Other events you can attend are KIANA in N. Kio, the “Artichoke Festival” in Iria, the “Fisherman's Festival” in Tolo, the “Oil Festival” in Lygourio and many more remarkable festivals.
